What if we could revisit our dreams?
After watching Black Mirror, I started wondering: what if we could revisit the dreams we forget every morning?
That little thought sparked NYOMA, a speculative experiment exploring how technology might help us capture, reconstruct, and revisit our dreams.

Curious about how close we are to capturing dreams, I came across experiments like MIT's Dormio and research on ear-EEG sleep tracking.
That sparked the idea for NYOMA Sense, a tiny wearable imagined to capture sleep signals without getting in the way of a good night's rest.

I imagined NYOMA as two connected experiences: a wearable that captures sleep signals and a terminal-first workspace where those signals become visual interpretations of our dreams.
Rather than keeping everything inside a traditional dashboard, I wanted each command to reveal something new.
Making It Feel Alive.
I wanted NYOMA to feel a little less technical and a little more alive. So I created a tiny pixel cat that reacts to different moments, along with playful messages that make the quiet parts of the experience feel more personal.
NYOMA is a fictional concept created as a personal design exploration. The technology and experiences presented are speculative and do not represent an existing product.
